The terms and conditions governing the use of Karam Platform

1. Introduction
Welcome to Karam Platform ("the Platform", "we", "us"). By using this site and its services, you agree to be bound by these terms. Karam is an electronic platform connecting Saudi host families in Makkah and Madinah with visitors and tourism companies to provide an authentic Saudi hospitality experience.
2. Registration & Accounts
2.1 Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to register, the information you provide must be accurate, and you are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential.
2.2 Account Types
Visitor account (for browsing, booking, and reviewing), Host family account (for listing a majlis and managing bookings and guests), Company account (for tourism companies managing group bookings).
2.3 Identity Verification
The Platform reserves the right to request additional documents to verify identity, especially for host families, as a condition for activating certain services.
3. Host Family Terms
3.1 Approval & Acceptance
All host family registration requests are subject to review and approval by the Platform team, and the Platform may reject or cancel any family's registration at any time, stating the reasons.
3.2 Family Obligations
Provide hospitality matching the listed description, maintain cleanliness and safety standards in the majlis, honor booking times and stated availability, and treat guests in a manner befitting Saudi hospitality values.
4. Bookings
4.1 Completing a Booking
A booking is confirmed after successful payment via the approved payment gateway, and a confirmation is sent by email or SMS.
4.2 Modifying a Booking
Booking details (date, time, guest count) can be modified 48 hours before the booking, subject to availability of the requested alternative.
5. Cancellation & Refund Policy

| Less than 12 hours | No refund |
Refunds are processed within 5-7 business days depending on the issuing bank.
6. Fees & Commissions
The Platform commission is 25% of each successful booking value. All displayed prices include VAT (15%). Host families can withdraw wallet earnings with a minimum of 500 SAR, processed via bank transfer within 3-5 business days.
7. Coupons & Discounts
The Platform may offer discount coupons periodically; each coupon has its own terms (expiry date, maximum value, usage limit), and coupons cannot be stacked unless stated otherwise.
8. Ratings & Reviews
Visitors can rate their experience after a booking is completed. Reviews must be honest, objective, and free of offensive content, and the Platform reserves the right to remove any review that violates these terms.
9. Intellectual Property
All site content (text, designs, logos, images, software) is owned by Karam Platform and protected under Saudi copyright and intellectual property law.
10. Limitation of Liability
The Platform acts as an intermediary between host families and visitors and is not directly liable for the quality of service provided. We make every effort to ensure accuracy of information without guaranteeing it is error-free, and disputes should first be resolved amicably through the Platform.
11. Changes to These Terms
The Platform reserves the right to amend these terms at any time; users will be notified of material changes via email or a Platform notice, and continued use after an amendment constitutes acceptance.

13. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws and regulations of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the competent Saudi courts.
